Do you use Corning, Visions, Amberware for Stovetops? How does it differ from Stainless or Non-stick?

Eg: do you use a heat level that deigns non-stick or stainless steel? Cleaning tips weight? I choose because I want to reduce carcinogens in the frying food. I am also trying to porcelain enamel. What do you like about it?
I used utensils Corning Ware amber colored glass for 23yrs. Never down-and-out one. Sturdy stuff (I'm pretty clumsy.) I have mellitus. I use it the same way as any other pots and pans.

Are downdraft stovetops quiet?
Jun 23, 2008 by Carol | Posted in Cooking & Recipes
I flinch from noisy stove hood vents and microwave hood vents and am assessment of getting a downdraft stovetop. Are they much quieter? Would you be able to by far talk over the sound? Also, which make and model do you recommend? Thanks!
I have a Jennair cooktop stove with downdraft. It's not calm - maybe not as loud as some hood vents. I love the appliance though!

And he doesn't like stovetops or being put in pots, so try not to do that. Stopover the SPCA at www.spca.org or call 1-888-ANIMALS for more information.
